How to prepare & send your Bouquets
Preserving your flowers starts with keeping them as fresh as possible. Whether you're booking a personal collection or sending your bouquet by post, here’s how to ensure the best results:
1. Keep It Fresh
After your event, place your bouquet in a vase with water and store it in a cool, shaded place.
Please do not refrigerate or freeze the flowers.
2. Timing Matters
Bouquets should be collected, dropped off, or posted within 2–3 days of your wedding. We can accept flowers up to 5 days after the event, but earlier is best for optimal preservation.
3. How to Package Your Bouquet for Post
-
Use a snug box with soft cushioning (e.g. paper towels or tissue).
-
Wrap the stem base with damp paper towel and tin foil to retain moisture — avoid wetting the petals.
-
Place the bouquet securely inside to prevent movement during shipping.
-
Add a note with your name, contact details, and order reference.
-
Clearly mark the package as “Fragile”.
-
Send via Express Post to ensure the quickest delivery.
4. Drop-Off or Collection
We offer personal collection of bouquets within a 50 km radius of Clane, Co. Kildare the morning after your event.
Alternatively, you are welcome to drop off or post your bouquet within 24–48 hours after the wedding.
5. Let Us Know It’s on the Way
Please message us as soon as the bouquet has been sent or dropped off. We will confirm once it arrives safely and begin the preservation process immediately.
